児童発達支援事業所としての、小集団の教室です。 Small group sessions supported by the Japanese welfare system. Children before entering elementary schools are qualified for the system.
アメリカで行われるABAの早期集中療育のプログラムに沿いながらも、１対１ではなく小集団での療育にすることで、自閉スペクトラム症に不可欠な社交性の訓練や集団学習の機会を提供します。早期療育プログラムで教えるスキルを、集団での自然な活動に応用・般化させることにも焦点が置かれています。ABAのプロに直接スーパーバイズされた療育に親が参加することで、親自身が療育的な関わりを自然に学べます。
１回１時間半（コロナ対策による消毒等のために30分短縮させていただいています）の療育を以下の時間帯にて提供します。
9時45分から11時15分
12時45分から14時15分
15時30から17時00分
朝・昼の時間帯は、2人から3人までの少人数のグループで、スタッフの数も十分に用意し、丁寧な療育に。夕方の時間帯は、社交のスキルに焦点を置いた授業となり、生徒5人までの比較的大きめのグループになります。
アメリカでは１週間に20時間以上の１対１の早期集中療育が通常となっていますが、日本でも福祉の制度（児童発達支援のサービス）が許す限りにおいて、科学的に根拠のあるABAのプログラムに基づいた療育を提供します。療育時間だけでなく、できる限り生徒の学習を継続してもらうためにも保護者の参加をお願いしています。二度と訪れない幼少期にできるだけ集中した療育を提供したい思いから、保護者のご都合の許す範囲内で、できる限り多くの時間（週２から３日）のご利用をお願いしております。
コロナウィルス感染予防の観点から、遠隔での療育も提供いたします。小さなお子様を対象としている教室ではありますが、ご利用の保護者の方からは「思ったよりも参加できている。どこにも出られない中で、遠隔の選択肢があって良かった。」と喜びの声を聞かれます。グループへの参加が可能ですが、必要に応じて個別の対応も行います。

The current research supports one-on-one ABA services for more than 20 hours a week. We provide small-group sessions for only a few times a week, due to the limited financial supports available through the Japanese welfare system, however, the program is still guided by EIBI (Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention) for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and parental participation allows parents to continue one-on-one intervention through everyday interaction at home. Small group sessions also allow children to have therapist-guided social opportunities. Parents can see the therapy sessions conducted by the therapists supervised by a BCBA (Koji Takeshima). Parents will be guided to find therapy targets and methods to increase target behaviors at home. The sessions are also occasions to exchange information among parents. One session is about 2 hours (we are currently making sessions to 1 and half hours in order to disinfect all of the educational materials for the prevention of COVID19). The hours are 9:30 to 11:30 (945-11:15), 12:30 to 2:30 (12:45 - 2:15), and 3:00 to 5:00 (3:15 to 4:45). Early hours are for more careful interventions in a very small group (2 to 3 students). Evening hours are for children with social needs in a relatively larger group setting (up to 5 students).
The sessions are mainly conducted in Japanese, but we have one English speaking therapist (beside the supervisor, Koji Takeshima).
